Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines
Analyze drawings to determine cutting tools , machine speeds, and feed rates
Monitors production and checks output for quality assurance
Identifies needs for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
Develop CNC programs for production runs
Troubleshoot issues during the program simulation process
Maintain tooling database
Requirements:
Operating knowledge of CNC and Manual Machines
Use of precision measuring tools
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Must be able to read and comprehend prints
Understanding of basic G and M codes
Perform minor machine maintenance such as adding coolant, lube, etc.
Operation of multiple machines as needed
