Machinist - Colby Location

Responsibilities:

  • Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines

  • Analyze drawings to determine cutting tools , machine speeds, and feed rates

  • Monitors production and checks output for quality assurance

  • Identifies needs for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs

  • Develop CNC programs for production runs

  • Troubleshoot issues during the program simulation process

  • Maintain tooling database

Requirements:

  • Operating knowledge of CNC and Manual Machines

  • Use of precision measuring tools

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Must be able to read and comprehend prints

  • Understanding of basic G and M codes

  • Perform minor machine maintenance such as adding coolant, lube, etc.

  • Operation of multiple machines as needed
