Regional Sales Position

Loos Machine & Automation LLC began in 1902 as a small maintenance and repair shop for local farmers. Over the years Loos has transitioned into a thriving business that paves the path for the food processing industry. Loos Machine & Automation provides automation, engineering, machining, fabrication, process, and installation. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities utilize modern techniques and machines. We are seeking a Regional Sales Position at Loos Machine & Automation to assist with our multiple facilities. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities to solicit job contracts from existing and potential customers in the food industries for custom-manufactured processing equipment and turn-key systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform key account planning and maintain business relationships with accounts.

  • Generate and qualify leads for subsequent development.

  • Expanding market presence to drive sales goals and strategies.

  • Utilize sales tools and processes to meet company goals.

  • Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals.

  • Assist with quotations and follow up on sales leads through ERP system.

  • Stay up to date with market trends and activities.

  • Commit to deadlines, working overtime as needed.

  • Travel to job sites as needed.

  • Participate in company and department meetings.

  • Assist with participation for appropriate tradeshows, conferences, and events.

  • Able to provide material and content for marketing team.

  • Remote location opportunities.

  • Work closely with Sales Director and Vice President.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of food processing equipment, willing to train.

  • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing or food industry.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Communicate with other internal departments as needed.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Self-starter with positive attitude and results-oriented approach to work.
